Eric Sundheim, ASA
Eric Sundheim is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA). He has completed more than 750 opinions and valuations for the purposes of M&A, tax reporting, and financial reporting. He has been engaged as an expert witness in valuation and damages. His work has been published in premier valuation journals, and he is a reviewer for the Business Valuation Review. He has presented as a guest lecturer on valuation before universities, CPA associations, and bar associations, and his courses on valuation have been sold by data providers including Business Valuation Resources, Udemy, and Forbes. Mr. Sundheim has received security clearances from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) and formerly served on the ASA NorCal Board of Directors.

Abdul Omarkhil, CFA
PRINCIPAL
Abdul Omarkhil is a business valuation specialist. He has completed more than 500 valuations for the purpose of stock option issuance, financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, and gift and estate taxation as well as option expense reporting. He was previously employed as a Vice President at another regional valuation firm and as a Credit Analyst at Wells Fargo & Company. Mr. Omarkhil holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society. When he’s not valuing businesses, Abdul can be found hiking or playing tennis.
James McCown, Ph.D.
ECONOMIST
James McCown, Ph.D. is an economist with an interest in financial and macroeconomics issues. He has taught at Ohio State University, Florida Atlantic University, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma State University, and is now teaching in the Division of Finance at the University of Oklahoma. He has been engaged in a number of consulting projects and has provided litigation support. The projects he has worked on include company valuations and valuations of over-the-counter derivatives. Dr. McCown has an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and a Ph.D. in economics from Ohio State University. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed research papers that have been published in some of the top economics and finance journals.
William Leung, Ph.D.
ECONOMIST
William Leung, Ph.D. is an applied economist. He has been employed as a Professional Researcher at the University of California, Davis and as an Economist at the California Air Resources Board. He maintains deep expertise in statistics, economics, and government policy. Dr. Leung holds B.A. degrees in Economics and Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. When he takes off his Economist hat, he hops onto his rock climbing wall at his home gym with his wife and son.
