Eric Sundheim, ASA
Eric Sundheim is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in business valuation. He has been engaged as an expert witness in valuation and damages. His work has been published in premier valuation journals and he is a reviewer for the Business Valuation Review. Mr. Sundheim holds security clearances from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Canada Revenue Agency (CRA). Mr. Sundheim formerly served on ASA NorCal's Board of Directors and he is a current member of ProVisors. He has completed more than 650 valuations for the purpose of stock option issuance, financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, divorce, gift & estate taxation, and transfer pricing. When he’s not valuing businesses, Eric can be found improving his expert witness abilities practicing improv or arguing calls at pickup basketball games.
Abdul Omarkhil, CFA
Abdul Omarkhil is a business valuation specialist. He has completed more than 500 valuations for the purpose of stock option issuance, financial reporting, mergers & acquisitions, and gift and estate taxation as well as option expense reporting. He was previously employed as a Vice President at another regional valuation firm and as a Credit Analyst at Wells Fargo & Company. Mr. Omarkhil holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a member of the CFA Society. When he’s not valuing businesses, Abdul can be found hiking or playing tennis.
Manoj P. Dandekar, Ph.D., ASA, FRICS
Dr. Manoj P. Dandekar has over 30 years of experience in the identification, valuation, and remaining life analysis of intangible assets and intellectual property as well as the appraisal of business enterprises and partial business interests. Previously he was a senior economist affiliated with a worldwide law firm. Prior to that, he was a director in the corporate finance practice of a global audit and advisory firm and a director at a publicly traded global business advisory firm. Dr. Dandekar earned his Doctorate in Engineering Valuation from Iowa State University after receiving his BE in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bombay, India. He is an Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in Business Valuation and Intangible Assets, a member of ProVisors, and a Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS).
James McCown, Ph.D.
James McCown, Ph.D. is an economist with an interest in financial and macroeconomics issues. He has taught at Ohio State University, Florida Atlantic University, Oklahoma City University, Oklahoma State University, and is now teaching in the Division of Finance at the University of Oklahoma. He has been engaged in a number of consulting projects and has provided litigation support. The projects he has worked on include company valuations and valuations of over-the-counter derivatives. Dr. McCown has an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin, and a Ph.D. in economics from Ohio State University. He has authored numerous peer-reviewed research papers that have been published in some of the top economics and finance journals.
William Leung, Ph.D.
William Leung, Ph.D. is an applied economist. He has been employed as a Professional Researcher at the University of California, Davis and as an Economist at the California Air Resources Board. He maintains deep expertise in statistics, economics, and government policy. Dr. Leung holds B.A. degrees in Economics and Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley and an M.A. and Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, San Diego. When he takes off his Economist hat, he hops onto his rock climbing wall at his home gym with his wife and son.
